The video of Gail Mahood's Dec. 1, 2020, presentation on Post-Fire Debris Flow Hazards in San Lorenzo Valley, hosted by the Friends of San Lorenzo Valley Water can be found on YouTube at:

This 45-minute presentation starts with an introduction to the nature of debris flows and why post-fire landscapes are especially subject to them, then spends most of the time detailing how hazards were assessed in the burn zone of the CZU Fire and the implications for the hazards in Boulder Creek, Brookdale, Ben Lomond, Felton, and along Hwy 9 and Hwy 236, and finishes up with a comparison of the County evacuation maps and the hazard makes and an estimate for how many evacuation-triggering rainfall events are likely to occur this winter.
